Mitchell + Associates are a multidisciplinary practice incorporating Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design and Planning. The unique set of skills provided by the firm allows its clients to create developments that function to the highest design and aesthetic standards.
The practice was founded in 1988 and has developed into one of the largest multi-disciplinary practices in Ireland. Mitchell + Associates employ highly skilled landscape architects, architects and planners, allied with effective business administrators. This has allowed the practice to develop coherent design strategies for integrated projects in both urban and rural settings.
Mitchell + Associates base their approach on identifying the 'carrying capacity' of a development site. By quantifying the ability of a particular piece of land to accommodate a certain level of development without any intrinsic damage to the landscape structure, sustainable levels of development are more possible.
