Powell Dobson Urbanists are Urban Design, Masterplanning, Regeneration and Planning specialists who recognise that masterplanning is as much about engineering, landscape and architecture as it is about planning.

The principles of good urban design centre on the creation of a sense of place, and a recognition that the quality of landscape, the public spaces, the roads and car parks, the street furniture and signage, are all as important as the buildings. The challenge for creating a successful framework for the future of our urban areas will be to achieve the right balance between prescribing through design standards without losing the flexibility to allow change over time.

Where we stand out from our competitors is our emphasis on delivery: we judge ourselves on the quality of what is built, specialising in translating a vision into reality.
